EA Sports releases first sneak peek at UFC game play

MMA fans have been clamoring for months to get a piece of the new EA Sports UFC game. Over the last several months EA Sports has been releasing pictures of all the most recognizable fighters, explaining the new simulations, and breaking down what the game will actually feel like when it hits stores this Spring.

Up to this point there has literally been 5 seconds of actual gameplay footage that has been shown. Many fans were worried about this prospect, citing that if EA Sports was reluctant to show off the gameplay, then something must be going wrong.

Today, EA Sports has finally released short clips of the gameplay and it looks absolutely astonishing. Check out the entire video below:

Featured in the video are clips of Ronda Rousey vs Miesha Tate, Chris Weidman vs Lyoto Machida, Jon Jones vs Alexander Gustafsson, Benson Henderson vs Anthony Pettis, and much more. We also catch a glimpse of Anderson Silva and Georges St-Pierre as well.

While there is still no official release date for the game, the timeframe is Spring 2014. By the time the game comes out, it will be about two years since the release of the last UFC game. The reason for the delay is because this is the first UFC game created by EA Sports, while the ‘Undisputed’ series was created by THQ.
