The Chicago Bears, who have had a very busy offseason so far, made a couple of moves on Tuesday.

They re-signed safety Craig Steltz and signed safety Danny McCray away from the Dallas Cowboys.

Dan Wiederer of The Chicago Tribune has the scoop.

"In an ongoing quest to create greater depth and competition at safety while also fortifying their special teams, the Chicago Bears added two more players to the roster Tuesday, announcing one-year contracts for Craig Steltz and Danny McCray."

Steltz was selected by the Bears with the 120th overall pick of the fourth round in the 2008 NFL Draft. The former LSU Tiger made 23 stops in 16 games last season.

McCray, also a former LSU Tiger, was signed by the Cowboys in 2010. He had eight tackles in 15 games in 2013.
