To be clear, free agent wide receiver Kenny Britt‘s value is based solely on the idea of him as a number one wide receiver. He has not actually looked like or acted like a capable NFL receiver for some time now.
The New England Patriots have made a push for Britt, as have the Seattle Seahawks, St. Louis Rams, and Washington Redskins. The Carolina Panthers are also looking to make a push for Britt. So yes, this is the competitive market for a receiver who had 11 catches in 12 games last season for 96 total yards.
Britt’s most recent visit was to Washington this week. He left with no deal and is clearly still assessing his options.
WR Kenny Britt left the Redskins facility earlier without a deal. Also visited Patriots and Rams. Being deliberate, and that’s by design.

Things have come together just right for Britt, who is in position to land a handsome deal in free agency.
