After some failed contract discussions with the Pittsburgh Steelers a year ago, veteran linebacker James Harrison left the team to join the division rival Cincinnati Bengals. Harrison was unable to make an impact in Cincinnati and now he is once again a free agent so he is looking to finish his career where he first burst onto the scene.

Harrison may be slowing down and he is not the fierce defender that he once way, but he isn’t ready to retire yet and he would love to re-join the Steelers.

“Everybody knows that” Harrison said during an appearance on NFL Total Access. “I’ve got two rings and I’ve got a lot of relationships, teammates, former teammates that are still good friends.”

Fans would likely welcome Harrison back with open arms as well, so it will be interesting to see whether or not the Steelers decide to bring him back to town as they look to get younger on the defensive side of the ball.
