Rajon Rondo says most of his teammates are playing for contracts

Just because everyone can see that the Celtics are heading for the NBA Lottery for the first time since 2007, doesn’t mean that Rajon Rondo is really on board.

Rondo essentially questioned his teammates commitment to winning and sticking around on the Celtics rather than just having a spot in the league:

Unfortunately, things like this are bound to come up when a rebuilding year is in order. This isn’t the first time the young Celtics have been called out by a veteran teammate. This is just what happens on the road back to glory days in Boston.

It will be interesting to see if Rondo himself is still around after 2015 when his contract is up.
