Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch has been popular for a while, but the team’s Super Bowl run has made him even more popular. How popular exactly? Popular enough that a man dressed up as Lynch for a cross country ski race known as the Engadin Ski Marathon.

“I wanted to do something to honor the Seahawks,” said Tony Wiederkehr, via Chris Daniels of King 5 News.

The ski marathon isn’t an event in Washington, it is held in Switzerland. Wiederkehr first competed in the event with his father.

“I was coaching basketball and football, but my Dad was always into it.  He was 70 years old, and asked my brothers to come over and do it.  He said it was going to be my last Engadin Ski Marathon.  And so I went up to Snoqualmie Pass and took my first lesson.  It was a total disaster,” said Wiederkehr.
