2014 NFL Free Agency: Tennessee Titans sign Marc Mariani

The Tennessee Titans have been using free agency in an attempt to improve on offense, which is one reason they moved quickly to sign former Kansas City Chiefs’ playmaker Dexter McCluster.

They also re-signed kick returner/running back Leon Washington.

On Wednesday, they agreed to a deal with another one of their own free agents, re-signing wide receiver Marc Mariani to a one-year deal.

Mariani confirmed the signing on his own twitter account.

Mariani was originally selected by the Titans with the 222nd pick in the seventh round of the 2010 NFL Draft.

He became a return man for the Titans and had a solid rookie season, including a 98-yard kick return for a touchdown.

In 2011, he was selected to the Pro Bowl.
