Marvel Reveals New Concept Art for Avengers: Age of Ultron (Photos)

Last night, where there is normally a brand new episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., fans were treated to so much more. Fans of the Marvel Universe from all over tuned in as ABC aired a one hour special entitled Marvel Studios: Assembling a Universe. One of the biggest highlights of the night was getting our first look inside the production of the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Throughout the night, fans were offered a look inside upcoming Marvel projects like Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy, a look at what is ahead for the members of Coulson’s team on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and more importantly, the greatness known as Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Of course, the reveal of Age of Ultron was towards the end of the special. I mean, you can play your ace in the hole right away, no can you?

During the reveal, we got a look at some of the concept art for the film, and a framework for what we can expect in the film. Now, Marvel has taken everything a step further and posted this concept art online for everyone to see.

So, whether you missed the special last night, or you’re just dying to get another look, here is a look at the latest concept art for the upcoming film Avengers: Age of Ultron.

There are three pieces in the collection. First, we take a look at a piece that features The Incredible Hulk and Black Widow as they are surrounded by destruction and falling buildings.

Next, we get a look at the brother/sister duo known as Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch. As most of you already know, Quicksilver is going to be played in the film by Godzilla actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Here, we see him quickly fighting his way through a crowd of what looks like robotic beings.

Last, but not least, we have Quicksilver’s sister Scarlet Witch. Again, most of you may already be aware of this, but in the film, the role of Scarlet Witch will be played by Taylor-Johnson’s Godzilla co-star Elizabeth Olsen. One of her main superpowers is that of reality alteration. It would appear that this is what she is in the process of doing in this piece of concept art.

We are still quite a bit away from the released of the superhero epic, so there is plenty of time for more juicy details and tidbits of information to be released that will raise or expectations and anticipations of the film’s release. Until then, let’s take a moment to sit back and appreciate the original concepts for the film.

Avengers: Age of Ultron is scheduled to be released on May 1, 2015.
