Although most of the elite wide receivers that were available have already been acquired via free agency (except for the possible trade of Philadelphia Eagles’ wide receiver DeSean Jackson), there still could be a few bargains out there.

Teams that are either looking to add any kind of reliable target (Carolina Panthers), want to add another player to a group that is already very good (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) or have a player to replace (the Cincinnati Bengals, who lost Andrew Hawkins to the Cleveland Browns) are still hunting for one of these bargains.

One player who has seen his production take a big dip over the last few seasons, but has shown flashes of being a reliable target is New York Giants’ free agent receiver Louis Murphy.

Murphy, a native of St. Petersburg, Florida, visited the nearby Tampa Bay Buccaneers and now will be taking a closer look at the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday, according to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Last season, Murphy had six catches for 37 yards and one touchdown.
