Hard as it might be to believe, the New York Knicks are just four games out of the Eastern Conference’s final playoff spot and playing well, it seems within reason to believe the Knicks may have a serious shot at the postseason.
Riding the Phil Jackson wave of momentum, the Knicks pulled out a victory on Wednesday night against the powerful Indiana Pacers – though the six-point victory wasn’t without some dramatics.
With just under twenty seconds left in the fourth quarter and New York holding a seven-point lead, a timeout was called and Knicks head coach Mike Woodson was picked up by camera operators drawing up a play and reminding his players they had no timeouts left.
That apparently wasn’t want Carmelo Anthony wanted to hear as he told Woodson to ‘just play the fu%#ing game, man’ which prompted a hilarious look from the Knicks head coach.
Kind of an odd reaction to say the least given Woodson seemed to be informing his players of what to do so they’d be able to hold the lead against one of the NBA’s powerhouse teams.
