Filming for the upcoming Batman prequel series Gotham is getting underway, with a fall premiere date being eyeballed by producers. The cast has been filled out, the show has gotten an official logo and the cameras are starting to roll, which means it was only a matter of time before we saw some sort of promotional material for the series in the form of character images.
That’s exactly what we got on Thursday as the first character image from Gotham has been revealed. Fittingly, the first actor cast in the series is the firs character we’re seeing as Fox has revealed an image of Donal Louge in character as Detective Harvey Bullock.
Here’s a brief synopsis of Gotham in case you need a quick refresher on what it will be about:
GOTHAM is an origin story of the great DC Comics super villains and vigilantes, revealing an entirely new chapter that has never been told. From executive producer/writer Bruno Heller (“The Mentalist,” “Rome”), GOTHAM follows one cop’s rise through a dangerously corrupt city teetering on the edge of evil and chronicles the birth of one of the most popular super heroes of our time.
Gotham will premiere on Fox this fall.
