The Tennessee Titans have cut ties with long time kicker Rob Bironas and they’ve already moved on to bigger and better thing — emphasis on bigger. While they and gotten a lot of leg our of Bironas over the years, with only the legendary Al Del Greco being a more popular Tennessee kicker, the Titans are ready to go young and have scouted Old Dominion kicker Jarod Brown.
Titans cut kicker Rob Bironas today. On Monday, they called Old Dominion kicker Jarod Brown: 49ers and Colts worked him out at Pro Day

Brown isn’t a small guy and he hardly has your typically lanky body frame NFL kickers traditionally have had. But while he’s got a bigger frame, he’s also got a bigger leg and that’s what the Titans are interested in.
Bironas wasn’t cut just so the team can go after Brown, as Bironas’ time had come. But while the Titans are scouting out new kickers, Brown is clearly on their radar and he may end up being a name to watch in the later rounds of the draft given the interest he’s been drawing.
