NLL Reaches TV Deal

The National Lacrosse League has announced a new television deal with Universal Sports that will bring NLL games to the network.

Starting this week — today to be exact — seven NLL games will broadcast on the network on tape delay. The contract includes no live games to be aired on the network. The NLL already broadcasts its games on The Lacrosse Network on YouTube. This contract will allow the league to be shown in a more traditional manner, though one has to wonder how good of a deal it actually is when Universal Sports is a network that is hidden behind a featured plan pay wall on most TV providers.

You can find Universal Sports in your area HERE.

The broadcast schedule is as follows:

Colorado Mammoth at Buffalo Bandits
Thursday, March 20 at 5 p.m. ET

Toronto Rock at Philadelphia Wings
Thursday, March 27 at 4 p.m. ET

Buffalo Bandits at Vancouver Stealth
Thursday, April 3 at 5 p.m. ET
