The first game of the day for the Round of 64 in March Madness proved to provide the first major upset of the tournament. Despite their six-seed, the Ohio State Buckeyes weren’t able to get past Dayton and brackets started to bust right away with the opening game.
Not everyone’s bracket busted with the loss, as a probable matchup with Syracuse scared off a lot of folks from penciling in a deep run for Ohio State, but the loss is still significant and the first big name school of the tournament is gone.
Needless to say, Twitter reacted with a lot of mixed reactions.
Bye bye Buckeyes

All the people giving me grief about my #Buckeyes losing…save it. Real Buckeye fans knew we weren’t that good…not much of a shock here.

Can’t say I’m surprised though. Buckeyes are notorious for this
