Former UFC Middleweight champion, Rich ‘Ace’ Franklin has said that he wants to compete inside the Octagon one last time before he hangs up his gloves for good. The issue with that sentiment is that Franklin has absolutely no idea or time frame as to when he wants to step into the cage again.
Yesterday on UFC tonight, Ariel Helwani broke the news that Rich Franklin was offered a fight against Antonio Rogerio Nogueira at UFC Fight Night 40 in Cincinnati, but he turned it down:
Rich Franklin was recently offered a fight against Lil' Nog, but turned it down due to his growing biz. No word if he will ever fight again.

Franklin, who is an Ohio native, turned down the bout due to his expanding juice company called ‘ZeLin Juice and Fusion Café’.
The former champion has not fought since November of 2012, when he took on Cung Le in the UFC’s first ever event in Macau. Franklin was knocked out in devastating fashion by Le in just over two minutes, leading to his current hiatus.
If Franklin turned down a bout in his own backyard, it can be expected that he may never fight inside the Octagon again. FanSided will keep you updated when any new information is made available.
