This season of Saturday Night Live has been filled with plenty of first-time hosts, but we’ve still seen our share of return hosts and that’s a trend set to continue in the coming weeks. While it was announced that Academy Award-nominated actress Anna Kendrick would be hosting the first how of April, Louis C.K. will be returning as host on March 29th with Seth Rogen returning as host on April 12.
We knew Louis C.K. was hosting but it was only announced yesterday that Rogen would be back for his third go-around as host yesterday. According to THR.com, Rogen will be joined by musical guest Ed Sheeran.
Seth Rogen, touting his R-rated comedy Neighbors, returns for the third time to the Studio 8H stage on April 12. The musical guest for that episode will be British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, making hisSNL debut. Sheeran will debut the first single from his sophomore LP, slated for a summer release.
Rogen has hosted before and his comedic chops seem to suggest we’ll be in for a good night. He’s a lover of bizarre comedy, which means if we thought the Jonah Hill episode was off its rocker, than the Seth Rogen hosted episode could be even more insane.
SNL returns next Saturday with Louis C.K. and will air for three straight weekends after that.
