Andrew Bynum out indefinitely for Indiana Pacers

Oft-injured center Andrew Bynum is injured again as his chronic knee problems have resulted in the Indiana Pacers big man being ruled out indefinitely, the Pacers announced via their Twitter page on Friday.

Bynum has only played a total of 36 minutes over two games since being signed to a one-year deal worth $1 million dollars after he was traded from the Cleveland Cavaliers to the Chicago Bulls in the Luol Deng deal and released the next day.

He has played a total of 26 games since the 2011-2012 season and has only played more than 65 games once in his career when he played in all 82 games in his second year in the NBA with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2006-2007.

It’s not far-fetched to wonder if Bynum’s career is over because of the ongoing issues with his health.
