Assassin's Creed: Unity announced by Ubisoft

Ubisoft has just released a new trailer on what’s next for the Assassin’s Creed universe. The next title in the every popular stealth series is called Assassin’s Creed: Unity.

“We have been working on the new Assassin’s Creed for more than three years and although we weren’t quite ready to show you our full vision for a next-gen only AC, it seems Abstergo are trying to force our hand,” says Ubisoft.

They also said this, “So here’s a true first look at in-game footage from Assassin’s Creed Unity. Stay tuned – we’ll have many more exciting details for you in the months ahead.”

The trailer which is an alpha build of the game can be viewed below, shows a lavish house and vibrant city that has people there and of course an assassin is surveying the area unbeknownst to the crowd.

It appears the game will take place during the French Revolution, as there were reports of this being so.

The end of the trailer shows a guillotine coming down, so the assassin could have been watching someone being executed. Assassin’s Creed Unity is set to release this holiday season for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

You can leave a comment below on what you thought of the trailer and you if like the game taking place around the French Revolution.

Thanks, VG247
