Cameron Ridley lifts Texas over Arizona State at the buzzer (Video)

In one of the more exciting match ups of Thursday–and there certainly have been a lot of them–the Texas Longhorns were able to advance in the 2014 NCAA Tournament by defeating the Arizona State Sun Devils, and they were able to do so in dramatic fashion, the only way you can do it in March.

With the game tied at 85 and time running out, Cameron Ridley came up huge for his time one more time when it mattered most, grabbing the rebound off an errant shot and putting it back in before the buzzer hit.

It was a scary one throughout the game for the seventh-seeded Longhorns, but they will live to fight another day now because of the dynamic efforts of Ridley who took the pressure all on himself with that final put back.

It was a little bit of validation in a way for a team that was put under scrutiny before the season began, and then at times during it.
