Philadelphia Eagles’ wide receiver DeSean Jackson may have played his final year with the franchise. His name has been thrown around the rumor mill, as the organization has been in talks with multiple franchises about a possible trade that end Jackson’s run with the Eagles.
Fellow FanSided writers have posted about teams such as the Carolina Panthers, Oakland Raiders and the New York Jets being interested in the speedy veteran receiver. Now according to Tim McManus on Twitter, DeSean Jackson believes that he will not be back with the Eagles in 2014.
Jackson has spent the first six years of his career with the Eagles and has recorded 357 receptions, 6,128 receiving yards and 32 touchdowns. He’s even recorded almost 1,300 return yards, four touchdown returns, 300 rushing yards on 57 carries and three touchdowns.
Number 10 finished the 2013 season with 1,332 receiving yards off 82 receptions and nine touchdowns. It’s the third time he’s broken 1,000 yards receiving and the second time he’s caught nine (career high) touchdown passes in his career.
