The 6-1, 175-pound prospect chose the Tar Heels over East Carolina and South Carolina. His brother, Michael Bowman, committed to South Carolina during the same press conference. He is a 2015 wide receiver.

As a sophomore, Kyran had roughly 450 receiving yards and eight touchdowns for the Rams, who went 16-0 last season.

Bowman has also drawn interest from the defending SEC champions, the Auburn Tigers.
