A look at John Cena vs Bray Wyatt WrestleMania XXX promo (video)

We’re only a couple weeks away from the biggest sports entertainment pay per view in the history of professional wrestling. WrestleMania XXX looked as if it was going to have a dull card, but the creative team has picked things up over the last month or so.

I have no choice but to tip my hat to those who put together the matches, because filling CM Punk’s spot had to be tough. Almost nobody was interested in just a main event that would involve Randy Orton taking on Batista, so they decided to make it a Triple Threat match either way.

But right now I want to focus on what could have been the match of the night if that stipulation wasn’t added to the main event.

Bray Wyatt vs John Cena.

When I heard all that talk about Bray promising the WWE Universe that he was going to take down ‘The Machine’, I for sure thought he was referring to the one and only Super Cena. Yes, I call him Super Cena. I know that’ll upset some Cena fans, but the name has stuck.

Now the promo that this company put together for these two is absolutely beautiful. They used the right song for it, even though Eminem doesn’t necessarily fit Bray Wyatt’s gimmick, but I think it’s more aimed towards John Cena and what he has done in his career.

I respect everything that Cena has done ever since he first entered the WWE. Right now Bray is one of the biggest up and coming stars in the company and it’s only right that he goes toe to toe with who I think is still the face of the WWE. Even if Daniel Bryan becomes the WWE World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania, Cena will always remain the face of the company until he leaves.

Bray has always cut amazing promos ever since he changed his gimmick after failing with Husky Harris. The way he speaks in riddles and brings a brutal darkness to the company is exactly what was needed to keep things interesting.

I’m aware that this promo is a couple days old, but I was unable to watch RAW on Monday so it’s pretty new to me. This match could go either way, but I’m guessing that WrestleMania XXX’s match up between John Cena and Bray Wyatt is only the beginning.
