NCAA Tournament 2014 Third Round: Louisville vs. St. Louis game preview (Video)

In Third Round Midwest Region action on Saturday, the fourth-seeded Louisville Cardinals and the fifth-seeded At. Louis Billikens will square off with the right to advance to the Sweet 16 up for grabs.

It wasn’t easy for either team to make it to this point.

Louisville almost found themselves headed home on Thursday at the hands of the Manhattan Jaspers. The defending champs were given all they could handle by Manhattan but were still able to walk away with the win, thanks to the phenomenal shooting efforts down the stretch once again of Luke Hancock. He wasn’t named the Final Four MOP last year for nothing. He shows up when the team needs him, and that was on full display Thursday.

St. Louis also received a scare from NC State and TJ Warren. After leading for most of the game, though, the Wolfpack played horribly down the stretch and the Billikens were able to capitalize, and move on in the tournament.

Here’s a preview of the action we will see via the folks at Campus Insiders.
