Tennessee Titans Adewale Ojomo arrested for allegedly soliciting prostitute

The roster spot of Adewale Ojomo for the 2014 season may have already been iffy, but now the veteran has much more to worry about after he was arrested on Thursday night for allegedly soliciting a prostitute in Miami.

The Miami Herald reports that Ojomo was booked into the county jail this morning.

According to the arrest report, Ojomo approached a female undercover officer during a sting and offered $100 for sex. He also reportedly said to the officer, “You got condoms? I need to get some.” Ojomo was arrested by Miami’s newly re-instituted vice squad. His 2013 Lexus was impounded. He’ll have to pay $500 to get the car back from police.

Ojomo, who attened the University of Miami and played football for the Hurricanes entered the NFL as an undrafted player with the New York Giants. Since then he’s played for both the Seattle Seahawks and Bufflo Bills before joining the Tennessee Titans practice squad late last season.

Already a fringe player, an arrest isn’t something you need to explain to your coaching staff and Ojomo’s NFL future could be in serious doubt after the arrest, assuming the charges are true.
