There are a handful of nations around the world who are discussing a potential bid for the 2024 Summer Olympics. The latest country to consider a bid on the 2024 Games is Mexico, who is putting together a political sports commission to study whether or not it would be a viable option for Mexico to host the Olympics.
Mexico has only hosted the Olympics once before, and that was back in 1968 in Mexico City.
Felipe Munoz, won the gold medal in the 200m breaststroke during those games, is part of the group conducting the study.
Paris, Italy and South Africa are also considering bids for the 2024 Olympics Games, along with the United States. If the United States were to host the games, it would be Boston, Dallas, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and San Francisco that could be in the mix as potential host cities.
