Wichita State vs. Kentucky: 2014 NCAA Tournament Third Round Midwest Region preview (Video)

Sunday afternoon, what is undoubtedly the most anticipated match up of the 2014 NCAA Tournament thus far will take place as the undefeated, and top-seed Wichita State Shockers will take on the eighth-seeded Kentucky Wildcats in the Midwest Region with a shot at the Sweet 16 on the line.

For those that have questioned the Shockers’ strength of schedule throughout the season, in turn causing them to question the validity of their undefeated run this season, they’re either going to find that validation on Sunday, or eat crow.

In their opening game on Friday, though, Wichita State looked the best out of all the number one seeds that had played a game to that point. They had no problem disposing of Cal Poly early, helping set up this monumental showdown.

Meanwhile, Kentucky looked every bit the part of Kentucky as we hoped to see all season against Kansas State. John Calipari might have this team playing to their top potential at just the right time in the season.

Here’s a preview of what we’re going to get on Sunday between Wichita State and Kentucky, via the folks over at Campus Insiders:
