The University of North Carolina Tar Heels are taking on the Iowa State Cyclones in the 2014 NCAA Tournament with a trip to the Sweet Sixteen on the line. Former Texas Longhorns had coach Mack Brown was on hand at the AT&T Center in San Antonio for the game and he was supporting the Tar Heels.
Brown was the head coach of the Tar Heels’ football team for nine years before taking the job at Texas, so it isn’t out of the blue. It might be bringing up some bad memories for Brown, who lost his final game as the Longhorns’ head coach in San Antonio at the Alamodome in the Alamo Bowl to Oregon.
And while still supporting the Tar Heels, he is still throwing the “Hook ‘em Horns” though.
