Although it seems clear the third-seeded Duke Blue Devils had the most disappointing NCAA tournament appearance after losing to the 14th-seeded Mercer Bears in the second round, the sixth-seeded Ohio State Buckeyes, who lost the 11th-seeded Dayton Flyers, an in-state team that views the Buckeyes as a rival, weren’t far behind.

Now that the Buckeyes’ season is over, they may be in danger of losing their leading scorer.

According to Adam Zagoria of ZagsBlog, Buckeyes’ forward LaQuinton Ross, is leaning towards entering the 2014 NBA Draft (as is Duke Blue Devils’ forward Rodney Hood) and could do so as soon as Monday.

"Duke sophomore forward Rodney Hood and Ohio State junior forward LaQuinton Rossare both leaning towards entering the NBA Draft, sources told SNY.tv.Ross could announce on Monday after meeting with Ohio State coach Thad Matta, one source said."

The 6’8, 220-pound Ross averaged 15.2 points and 5.9 rebounds per game this season.

Draft Express currently ranks him as the 64th best eligible prospect and projects him to go 48th overall in their current mock draft.
