Baltimore Ravens’ free agent defensive back James Ihedigbo has turned into a solid safety after struggling early in his career.

That’s why it is someone surprising the Ravens aren’t going to match any offers for him, according to Aaron Wilson of The Baltimore Sun and The National Football Post.

According to Dave Birkett of The Detroit Free Press, it looks like Ihedigbo is deciding between the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears.

Ihedigbo signed with the New York Jets after going undrafted out of Massachusetts in in 2007. He spent the first three years of his career with the Jets before signing with the New England Patriots in 2011. He has spent the last two seasons with the Ravens.

In 2013, he had 101 tackles, three interceptions and two forced fumbles.
