Richard Sherman trolls Kansas on Twitter after Stanford upsets Jayhawks

Seattle Seahawks All-Pro cornerback and Stanford alum Richard Sherman watched as his alma mater pulled off a second-round upset of the Kansas Jayhawks to advance to their first Sweet 16 since 2008 and expressed his joy on his Twitter account.

Stanford knocked off the No. 2 seed Jayhawks behind Dwight Powell who scored a team-high 15 points and Chasson Randle who scored 13 and added four rebounds and six steals.

Randle was the subject of some pregame controversy as Kansas players Andrew Wiggins and Wayne Seldengiggled” when asked about the challenges of defending the Cardinal’s leading scorer.

Naturally, that caught the attention of Sherman, the best trash talker in the NFL and perhaps all sports, after the duo was held to 2-11 shooting for six combined points.

Stanford has the last laugh today as they’re laughing all the way to the Sweet 16 and a date with the Dayton Flyers for the right to get to the Elite 8.
