Garrett Taylor commits to Michigan

Four-star defensive back Garrett Taylor, considered the top prospect in the state of Virginia for the class of 2015 by Rivals.com, took to Twitter today to announce his collegiate commitment.

Michigan fans, feel free to celebrate:

According to MLive, Taylor — 6-foot-1, 188 pounds — had offers from the likes of Stanford, Ohio State, Penn State, Miami, LSU, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, and Virginia Tech. His final decision reportedly came down to being between the Wolverines and the Cardinal.

Taylor is the sixth player in the 2015 class to commit to the Wolverines. Two other four-star defensive backs, Shaun Crawford and Tyree Kinnel, have also committed to playing their college ball in Ann Arbor.
