The Toronto Blue Jays already face a number of question marks going into the season. The last thing they wanted to see was an injury to star shortstop Jose Reyes.
Reyes headed in for an MRI after exiting a game this weekend with a tight hamstring. The results?
MRI results on Reyes reveal a mild strain in his left hamstring. He’s currently listed as day to day. #BlueJays

Because it wasn’t anything more serious, this seems to only give an official designation to the same injury. At the moment it does not sound like he will miss any additional time as the team still lists him as day to day.
The Blue Jays have exactly a week to get Reyes healthy and ready to go for Opening Day. If this injury extends into the regular season it won’t be the worst thing in the long term, though it will do little to alleviate concerns about the Blue Jays after an uneventful off-season.
