With their season coming to an abrupt end in the Second Round of the 2014 NCAA Tournament, the Ohio State Buckeyes focus now turns to their roster for next season, although they’ll be without a big part of it as ESPN is reporting that junior LaQuinton Ross will declare for the 2014 NBA Draft.

This past season in helping the Buckeyes make a run toward the Big Ten Tournament semifinals, Ross was one of the more consistent players, averaging 15.2 points and 5.9 rebounds per game. Time and time again he would come up big for Thad Matta and Ohio State, even when they struggled through the Big Ten schedule a bit.
As far as where he projects in the draft, that’s still up in the air with many scouts. As of right now, he could be a late first-rounder, although that can change as more names come out.
