Greetings! It’s Monday morning, and each and every week (including last Monday), we bring you the latest look at the always entertaining race for the NBA’s Most Valuable Player Award. The NBA hasn’t exactly been front and center from a national perspective this week, as NCAA March Madness has captivated much of the casual viewing public, but for the diehards, things are still thriving in the world of the association. NBA MVP discussions are ramping up, and it’s time to weigh in once again on this week’s leaders.

For reference, the MVP “criteria” used here is the most literal sense of the word, and team success (while certainly a factor) doesn’t include or exclude any prospective candidate from the proceedings. Without further ado, let’s get it going!
