The Denver Broncos weren’t expressed to bring back running back Knowshon Moreno, but that might have had to do with the expected interest he was to draw on the open market.

Ironically, Moreno hasn’t drawn much interest at all – only visiting the Miami Dolphins (that we know of).

With his price tag starting to reduce, it appears the Denver Broncos are opening up to the idea of bringing him back.

"Broncos HC John Fox says on NFL Insiders door is “definitely” open for RB Knowshon Moreno to return. Moreno visited Dolphins on Friday."

While re-signing with the Broncos puts Moreno on one of the NFL’s elite teams, it’s not known if he’d continue to be the starter given the progression of Montee Ball.

There are still teams in need of a heavy-use backup running back, though for whatever reason Moreno’s name simply hasn’t come up in regards to those squads.

A return to Denver at least guarantees him a possibility of having a large offensive role, assuming he’s able to beat out Ball – which might be difficult.
