One never wants to jinx these types of fickle situations, but there might be a feel-good story developing with the Boston Red Sox.
The progression with Grady Sizemore has been swift and fun to watch: he went from the guy everybody was cheering for to the guy everybody was happy to see back on the field at all to the guy who just might make the roster to the guy who might actually start in center field.
It seems hard to believe that his comeback has been so successful, but that is exactly where Sizemore stands right now. He has produced consistently this spring while top prospect Jackie Bradley, Jr. has struggled. Given his injury history we have to acknowledge that it all could end in a moment, but for now it is great to see.
Sizemore hit his first home run of the spring on Tuesday.
