Matt Grice recovery update (Video)

Former UFC Featherweight and OKC Police Officer, Matt Grice, is still on the road to recovery after a horrific accident in September of 2013. On that night, Grice was rear-ended by a driver at a very high speed and ended up in a multiple car collision. The accident caused a traumatic brain injury for Grice, and multiple surgeries were needed to save his life.

Grice has been a trooper throughout the entire healing process and is thankfully healing well. Two months after a portion of his skull was re-attached, Grice was back in the gym hitting pads and working out. Recently, local news affiliate KOCO 5, did a short piece on Grice’s unbelievable healing process. Check out the incredible video below:

In the video, Grice explains that he hopes to one day return to being a Police Officer so that he can provide for his family. He also expects that he is done with MMA and the UFC for good.

On behalf of the MMA community we wish Matt a successful and full recovery, and thank him for all the great memories.
