Just a few days ago, rumors all but hinted the Philadelphia Eagles couldn’t rid themselves of  wide receiver DeSean Jackson quick enough. The problem child had apparently worn out his welcome in the City of Brotherly Love, but now it appears Jackson might be staying with the Eagles after all – at least according to Jackson himself. After tweeting out a photo of he and head coach Chip Kelly this morning, Jackson has reportedly been informing teammates that he will be staying with the Eagles moving forward.

"Source close to situation said that DeSean Jackson has called a few #Eagles teammates and told them he’s staying after talk with Chip Kelly."

That’s a pretty drastic reverse of course given we were informed the Eagles had reached out to teams in recent days to gauge trade interest in Jackson. Of course, they may not have received the type of offers they were looking for, or it’s possible the Eagles were attempting to send a message to Jackson by putting him on the trade block. Regardless, if the report is true, sounds like the Pro Bowl talent may be off the market – at least for now.
