The Pittsburgh Steelers have been eyeing both Maurice Jones-Drew and LeGarrette Blount this offseason and it appears that a deal with one of them cold be close. While other teams have dabbled when it comes to Jones-Drew and Blount, the Steelers have seemingly been the most active and that could lead them to signing one or the other by the end of the week.
Steelers likely to have deal with experienced running back by end of week.

It’s possible that a third running back is in the mix, but the experienced running back is likely either Blount or Jones-Drew. Either one works for the Steelers but they may be more inclined to sign Jones-Drew seeing as he wouldn’t be the starter and Blount may try to earn that role away fro the incumbent starter.
Still, something will be happening soon and if Blount is signed they Steelers could have a ruckus running game that helps break things open for Big Ben.
