Updated 2014 NIT bracket: Minnesota, Clemson advance to semifinals

After the action on Tuesday night, half of the final four for the 2014 NIT is now set for New York City and Madison Square Garden as both the Minnesota Golden Gophers and the Clemson Tigers have advanced to the semifinals.

Clemson won their game rather easily on the opener against the Belmont Bruins as they continue to build off the momentum they built up for themselves with their impressive performance against Duke in the ACC Tournament.

In the second game of the quarterfinals on Tuesday night, Minnesota held off a feisty Southern Miss Golden Eagles, 81-73, to advance to New York City once again.

Wednesday night, the rest of the final four for the NIT will be determined as Florida State will take on Louisiana Tech, and Cal will take on top-seeded SMU.

So far, this tournament has been nothing short of exciting and may only get better from here.

Who do you think advances to join these two on Wednesday?
