Bryce Harper gets tossed from spring training game against Cardinals (Video)

Recently, Washington Nationals phenom Bryce Harper was voted the most overrated player in the game of baseball by his peers. But one thing you can’t argue is that Harper is passionate about the game, and that was on full display on Wednesday in a spring training outing against the St. Louis Cardinals.

Harper had a bit of an altercation with an umpire. And yes, if you guess that the umpire was none other than CB Bucknor, then you are absolutely correct. After a bit of jaw-jacking back and forth, Bucknor tossed Harper from the game and sent him packing early to the showers.

There’s no telling what Harper actually said, but we all know that Bucknor can get a little trigger-happy with tossing players from the game, something we’ve seen more than enough times before.

All things considered, though, it wasn’t all that bad as Harper was able to get two at-bats in before he was told his day was over, so he got his workout in for the day.
