CJ Spiller said his ankle has been ‘responding pretty well’

Buffalo Bills running back C.J. Spiller battled through a knee injury in 2013, racking up 933 yards on 202 carries, but only found the end zone twice. He also added 33 receptions for 185 yards.
Good news for Bills fan though, in a local radio interview with WGR Sportsradio 550 Spiller said his knee is responding well and he feels that explosiveness coming back. He also said that he is out in California working with quarterback E.J. Manuel in preparation for the 2014 season.
“I feel good. I’m actually out here in California getting some throws in with EJ just trying to get some timing down,” said Spiller. “The ankle has been responding pretty well since the offseason started being able to plant and cut so I definitely feel that explosion coming back to how I was in 2012.”
