For the last few days, it’s been said that a deal between former New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez and the Philadelphia Eagles could be coming soon, and it may be very much on the horizon as Ian Rapoport is reporting that Sanchez is in the City of Brotherly Love Wednesday night, and a deal could be done shortly, barring the health of his shoulder.

Just a few days ago, the Eagles emerged as the most likely landing spot for the former Jets franchise quarterback, but again, a deal cannot be done until the Eagles’ doctors check out his previously injured shoulder to make sure that all is well to bring him in.

Sanchez was released by the Jets a little over a week ago, and then the team subsequently signed former Eagles QB Michael Vick to a deal.

Now it seems that we’re headed for a scenario where the teams just about swapped signal callers.
