Much has been made about the Cleveland Browns not being in attendance at Johnny Manziel‘s pro day on Thursday considering they own the fourth pick in the upcoming NFL draft and have a glaring need for a franchise quarterback.
Well if you’re a Browns fan and want them to draft Manziel you don’t need to give up that dream as the Browns and Manziel are scheduled to meet in Cleveland in April, according to NFL Network’s Albert Breer.
A lot has been made of the Browns’ absence here. But I’m told they’ve got Johnny Manziel scheduled to make a trip to Cleveland in April.

The Browns are hoping Brian Hoyer can pick up where he left off last season before he sustained a torn ACL that ended his season after a few promising starts, but they need competition for him at the very least after losing Brandon Weeden and Jason Campbell in free agency.
It’s no certainty the Browns will draft Manziel, but by meeting with him next month it keeps the chances alive that the team pulls the trigger on him if the Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars, who pick first and third, pass on the 2012 Heisman winner.
