ESPN’s Jonathan Coachman had himself a long and entertaining run with the World Wrestling Entertainment before he left the company a couple of years ago. He went from interviewing wrestlers before and after match-ups, to having a bigger role with the business which eventually led to him stepping inside the squared circle.
He’s had some great run ins with The Rock, Triple H, Mick Foley and Stone Cold Steve Austin. I remember when Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was appearing on ESPN while Coachman was working and the two ran into each other in the halls. Them two face to face brought back a lot of memories for the two, and I believe Coach ended up interviewing The Rock during SportsCenter.
Now according to NoDQ.com, the WWE could be close to re-signing Jonathan Coachman and bringing him back to the company. He could be getting his own talk show that would be featured on the WWE Network, but this would be a part time gig. Not only would he still be representing the WWE, but he could still keep his job with ESPN.
I say the company brings The Coach and Michelle Beadle on board to have their own talk show.
