The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, like virtually all of the NFL, are transfixed on the Pro Day of Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel. Unlike some of the teams visiting Manziel today at College Station, the Bucs are in the market for a quarterback and have a good chance of possibly getting the chance at drafting him in May.
Also unlike most teams at Manziel’s Pro Day, the Buccaneers are meeting with him privately — something fans will likely take serious note of.
Johnny Manziel will also meet with the Bucs and Raiders today, and the Vikings tomorrow. All three had head coaches in town.

Like Breer points out, the Buccaneers are not the only team meeting with Manziel and they’re not even the highest picking team meeting with him. However, the Buccaneers insistence on saying they’re thinking about drafting a quarterback, coupled with their meeting with Johnny Football seems to suggest that while they’re looking at Aaron Murray in the later rounds, Manziel might not fall beyond No. 7 overall in the draft.
