Thursday night, the Wisconsin Badgers and Baylor Bears were supposed to have one of the more competitive games of the 2014 NCAA Tournament. The match up on paper looked great, but that’s not the way things turned out in the end. When it was all said and done, Wisconsin had dominated Baylor to move on to the Elite 8 with a 69-52 win, with Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers in attendance.
After the game during the team’s celebration, Rodgers showed up in the locker room to help the team celebrate a little and lead the break down afterwards.
Although he did go to Cal, since he’s become the face of the Packers franchise, Rodgers has become a supporter of the Badgers’ athletic programs, like most residents in the state of Wisconsin.
Now for the Badgers, they’ll await the winner of Arizona and San Diego State to see who they will face on Saturday with the right to go to the Final Four on the line.
