Radek Dvorak ejected for running over Roberto Luongo

On Thursday night, the Carolina Hurricanes and Florida Panthers game got a little feisty within the first twenty minutes. Hurricanes forward Radek Dvorak ran right through Panthers goalie Roberto Luongo which ended both of the players night early.

Dvorak was given a game misconduct and ejected from the game, while Luongo left the ice with an injury.

Luongo is not expected to return to the game,  according to NHL.com.

The collision did not appear to be intentional or malicious. Instead, it was simply Dvorak trying to make a play with a defender in close pursuit.

We will update you on Luongo’s condition as more information becomes available.
