NCAA Tournament 2014: Kentucky vs. Louisville preview, predictions and betting odds

The Sweet 16 will bring us one of the fiercest rivalries in college basketball on Friday night, when the No. 8 seed Kentucky Wildcats and No. 4 seed defending national champion Louisville Cardinals face off at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.

It is an interesting match up with Louisville’s veterans, who are coming off of a national title win, taking on the youngsters from John Calipari’s Wildcats.

Date: Friday, March 28
Start Time: 9:45 p.m. ET
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Venue: Lucas Oil Stadium
TV Info: CBS
Live Stream: March Madness Live
Betting Odds: Louisville -4

Because of the difference in experience between Kentucky and Louisville, the odds and betting trends are leaning in the Cardinals direction.

Louisville is also 49-8 straight up against higher seeded teams in NCAA Tournament play, so keep that in mind if you make your wager. The four-point spread in favor may be too much for the Cardinals to cover, but you should expect them to come away with the win and advance to the Elite 8.
