The Pittsburgh Penguins are unable to shake the injury bug and they have taken another hit. On Thursday night against the Los Angeles Kings, recently acquired forward Marcel Goc took a hard fall into the boards and the Penguins announced on Friday that he would be out for the next three weeks.
#Pens Marcel Goc out 3 weeks with foot injury. Beau Bennett will play tonight vs CBJ. Olli Maatta will be healthy scratch.

Once the Penguins learned that star center Evgeni Malkin was set to miss the remainder of the season, Goc, who the team acquired from the Florida Panthers at the trade deadline, was expected to see an increased role and more playing time.
Unfortunately, the foot injury will put a halt to those plans.
